Contest Terms and Conditions Eligibility: The Ugly Bathroom Contest (the “Contest”) is open to individuals who are legal residents of the state of Minnesota and have reached the age of majority in their state of residence. Participants must be the authorized agent for their apartment community or property management company and must meet all the requirements outlined below.

By participating in this Contest, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Work must done in a vacant apartment only.

No purchase is necessary to enter contest.

Contest Period: Submissions for the Contest will be accepted from December 1, 2023, to February 15, 2024.

The winner will be announced on or around February 19,2024. To be entered, submit up to five (5) photos of your ugly bathroom for consideration.

Prizes: The winner of the Contest will receive a bathroom remodel valued at up to $7,500.

The remodel does not include structural repairs or mold removal. Communities with said issues will be disqualified and the 2nd place winner will be selected provided there are no mold or structure issues.

Acceptance of Prizes: The winner agrees to allow the Contest sponsors and their affiliates full use of images of their bathroom both before and after the remodel takes place.

The winner also agrees to allow the use of their name, photo, apartment community name, and management company name for promotional and marketing purposes in The Vendor Guide Magazine, VendorGuideusa.com, social media and other online platforms.

Timely Access: The winner agrees to provide access to their property, apartment unit and winning bathroom during the period of February 20, 2024, and February 28, 2024, for the purpose of assessing the project scope and planning, and also to provide access for the remodel to take place between March 1, 2024, and March 31, 2024.

Submissions: All submissions must be made by an authorized agent of an apartment community or property management company. By submitting photos for consideration, you affirm that you have the authority to act as the agent for your company. All parties submitting bathrooms for consideration agree that if not selected as the winner, they will allow all sponsors to provide bids related to upgrading the bathroom and/or subscribing to services.

Property Size and Location Requirement:

Bathrooms submitted for consideration in the Contest must be in an apartment property with more than 24 units and be within 50 miles of the Twin Cities metro area. Occupied units are not allowed, unit must be vacant or will be vacant during the dates of March 1, 2024-March 31, 2024.

Contestants not selected as the winner are eligible for a 15% discount on like or similar work within your community. Work must be scheduled by March 31, 2024 to receive discount. Selection of the Winner:

The winner of the Contest will be chosen by the Contest sponsors based on the criteria established by the judges. The decision of the judges is final.

Privacy: By participating in the Contest, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information by the sponsors as outlined in their Privacy Policy. General Conditions:

The sponsors reserve the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Contest at their sole discretion. They also reserve the right to disqualify any participant found to be in violation of these Terms and Conditions.

Release and Limitation of Liability: By participating in the Contest, you release the sponsors and their affiliates from any liability for any damages, losses, or injuries that may arise from your participation or the receipt, use, or misuse of any prize.

Governing Law: The Ugly Bathroom Contest is governed by the laws of the United States and the state of Minnesota. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Hennepin County.
